KRA Juniors Program 2016

Meet and Play:  For Spring of 2016, we are meeting at the Downtown YMCA on Thursdays from 630-800 pm.  We will continue to meet until the April tournament in Wichita.  Please email the coordinator, spaces are filling up with 10 boys and 6 girls!

A parents/players meeting will be held the following Thursday after the April Wichita tournament at the Downtown YMCA at 630 pm.  It will be in the bottom floor meeting/banquet room.

Junior Nationals: will be held in Minneapolis, MN from June 22-26.  There are divisions based on ages.  There are double bounce and multi-bounce divisions for ages 12 years and younger.  We plan on attending.  If you are interested, please email the Kansas Juniors Coordinator Ken Cook.  Also, after meet and play is done, we can continue to develop/coach up until the tournament.  Ask for a list of drills they can work on in the mean time.

Other Information:

Coaching/Lessons: Private lessons for young people that want to learn or coaching sessions for the experienced junior that wants to improve their game are available.

We are interested in traveling to other tournaments with Junior players.

We are also starting the foundation of putting together a Kansas Junior Racquetball Team. The goal here is to sponsor kids to go to Junior Nationals and play in tournaments in the area/region.

We are now a 501C3, meaning that we can accept tax deductible donations that will further our sport (see the link on the front page).

All inquires should be directed to the Juniors Coordinator Ken Cook
